Founded in 1976, the RDFL is one of the oldest feminist organizations, one based on volunteerism.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"color: #800080;\">RDFL\u2019s vision<\/span> is to achieve equality between women and men in all spheres and to provide protection from gender-based violence.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"color: #800080;\">RDFL\u2019s mission<\/span> is to work on and advocate for the elimination of gender-based violence and all forms of discrimination, and to achieve full citizenship for women through a widespread and empowered membership and in collaboration with civil society.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"color: #800080;\">RDFL\u2019s values:<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>\u00b7 Feminism<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>\u00b7 Secularism<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>\u00b7 Democracy<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>\u00b7 Transparency<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>\u00b7 Rejection of all forms of discrimination and racism<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>\u00b7 Equality<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"color: #800080;\">Main Objectives<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Equality between woman and man ;<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>Lift all reservations on the International agreement for eliminating all forms of discrimination against women;<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>Apply all international agreements to ensure equality between the two genders and in order to amend unfair clauses in penal code, labor, social security, and Nationality laws;<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>Involve women in decision-making: within the family, at work, in politics.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>Protect and promote the culture of women\u2019s rights within human rights;<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>Eliminate violence against women;<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>Network and coordinate with women and civil society forces to enhance democracy and equality.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"color: #800080;\">Programs and Activities<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"western\"><strong><span style=\"color: #800080;\">ACTIVITIES<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3 align=\"LEFT\"><strong>The Gathering activities revolve around 4 axes:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3 align=\"LEFT\"><strong>1-<span style=\"color: #800080;\"> Prepare studies and research on the conditions of women in Lebanon.<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3 align=\"LEFT\"><strong><span style=\"color: #800080;\">2- Contribute to the organization and the implementation of pressing campaigns to eliminate all forms of discrimination against women and to protect them from violence imposed on them.<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3 align=\"LEFT\"><strong><span style=\"color: #800080;\">3- Program of Education on Human Rights<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h3 align=\"LEFT\"><strong>Perform specialized training sessions in the field of woman\u2019s human rights.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3 align=\"LEFT\"><strong>Organize awareness and recognition meetings on women\u2019s human rights.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 align=\"LEFT\"><strong>4- <span style=\"color: #800080;\">Program for the Elimination of Violence against Women<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h3 align=\"LEFT\"><strong>Establish Listening centers to receive victimized women.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3 align=\"LEFT\"><strong>Provide social, psychological, and legal consultancy through specialists.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 align=\"LEFT\"><strong>5- <span style=\"color: #800080;\">Adult Literacy program<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h3 align=\"LEFT\"><strong>Organize training courses for program coordinators.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3 align=\"LEFT\"><strong>Conduct adult literacy sessions for beginner and advanced levels<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"western\"><strong><span style=\"color: #800080;\">STRUCTURE OF THE GATHERING<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h3 align=\"LEFT\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #800080;\">General Assembly<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h3 align=\"LEFT\"><strong>The General Assembly consists of all registered members of gathering in all Lebanese regions.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3 align=\"LEFT\"><strong>The General Assembly elects the Board of Directors every three years.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3 align=\"LEFT\"><strong>Its duties include the drafting of future strategies and the execution and evaluation of the programs.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h3 align=\"LEFT\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;
