Responding to the Ministerial Declaration from the last 4th UfM Ministerial Conference on<br \/>\nWomen\u00b4s Rights (27 November 2017, Cairo), EuroMed Feminist Initiative with a consortium of nine<br \/>\nmember women\u2019s rights organizations in Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine and<br \/>\nTunisia initiated in 2019 a Regional campaign on Zero Tolerance for Violence Against Women and<br \/>\nGirls (VAWG), funded by the European Union (EU). (Campaign website www.ostik.org).<br \/>\nAs part of the campaign that The Lebanese Women Democratic Gathering- RDFL is a part of it, a series of national and regional policy dialogues are taking place in the<br \/>\nSouthern Mediterranean, providing a common platform to discuss VAWG and how to tackle it. The<br \/>\naim of these dialogues is to follow up on and support the implementation of the action points of<br \/>\nthe 4th UfM Ministerial Declaration.<br \/>\nThe regional policy dialogue on Combating Violence Against Women and Girls and Strengthening<br \/>\nWomen\u2019s Rights During the Covid-19 Pandemic was organised in collaboration with the Minister<br \/>\nof Social Development (MoSD) in Jordan. Initially scheduled to take place in March 2020, it was<br \/>\npostponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic and took place on September 21, 2020 using an online<br \/>\nplatform.
