The Lebanese Women Democratic Gathering participated in a meeting organized by the Knowledge Workshop on the history of the Lebanese and Palestinian feminist struggle in the era of the civil war and the war of the camps, to show the double suffering of women under the pressure of wars.<\/p>\n

Mrs. Leila Mroueh had a speech about the beginning of the emergence of the women’s movement with conferences, and the emergence of the first of these movements from the heart of secular parties, leading to alliances and networking between all women’s movements and the role of the supporting media, and the achievements at the level of laws, leading to the branching of organizations working in this field today, and on the cooperation on the level of the gathering with association Najdeh.<\/p>\n
