As a part of International Women’s Day activities, the Lebanese Women Democratic Gathering – Zouk Branch presented “Childhood Under Slavery”, documentary in the presence of women and girls\u2019 group, members of municipalities and activists in the public sphere. The show was followed by a discussion about women’s participation in municipal elections, in which Kfardebian municipality member, Ms. Josephine Zogheib, Jounieh municipality member, Ms. Silva Sobeih, shared their experience in municipal work, and their vision about the importance of the women\u2019s role, and the need for their involvement in this field.<\/p>\n
