RDFL attended today the second session to discuss the law on determining the marriage age and criminalizing the marriage of children in Lebanon in the parliamentary Human Rights Committee chaired by MP Michel Moussa, which was prepared by RDFL with a committee of specialists to protect children from early marriage, in order to develop a framework for progress in the legislative track of the law in light of the tragedy experienced by thousands of married child girls and what others can live in the absence of a law protecting them.<\/p>\n
