The Lebanese Women Democratic Gathering and the National Colation, in partnership with “Plan International” Lebanon and with funding from Sweden, launched the participatory advocacy program to end the child marriage in Lebanon. The program was held under the patronage of the Minister of Social Affairs, Dr. Hector Hajjar, and was attended by representatives of local and international organizations, ministries, and government agencies. This program is part of the national plan for the prevention and response to child marriage launched by the Ministry of Social Affairs.<\/p>\n
