As part of the project “Enhancing Protection and Capacities for Behavioral Change among Youth, Women, and Men” at the gathering center in Douris, funded by Trocaire, The Lebanese Women Democratic Gathering implemented a series of psychological and social sessions for approximately 125 beneficiaries aged between 18 and 60 years, over the course of a whole month. The sessions covered various topics such as: social roles, goal setting, problem-solving, learning negotiation skills, and strategies for protection against violence.<\/p>\n

Additionally, awareness sessions on parenting were organized, along with legal awareness sessions covering topics such as legal documentation, legal protection procedures, preventive measures, divorce and custody, and the role of the law in achieving behavioral change for spouses and children.<\/p>\n
