As part of the project “Enhancing Protection and Capacities for Behavioral Change Among Youth, Women, and Men” funded by Trocaire, the Lebanese Women Democratic Gathering (RDFL) organized a series of sessions and activities aimed at empowering women and youth and raising community awareness during the first quarter of 2025.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

At RDFL center in Douris, psychosocial support sessions were conducted over a full month for 60 women aged between 18 and 60. These sessions covered diverse topics such as gender and social roles, self-esteem and confidence, goal-setting, violence and protection methods, negotiation skills, effective communication, and problem-solving. Additionally, awareness sessions titled “Post-War Psychological Stress\u201d were held for 20 women.<\/p>\n

RDFL also conducted social support sessions for 32 girls aged 14\u201317 at Deir Al-Ahmar Public High School.
