January 2020-Beirut, Lebanon<\/p>\n

In the framework of the project \u201cStrengthening Access to Protection, Participation and Services for Women Refugees, Internally Displaced People (IDPs), and Women in the Host Communities in Lebanon\u201d funded by the European Union through the EU\u2019s Regional Trust Fund in Response to the Syrian Crisis, the EU \u201cMADAD\u201d Fund, the Lebanese Women Democratic Gathering – RDFL organized two workshops on CBOs Management and Advocacy, in partnership with the EuroMed Feminist Initiative and its partners in Lebanon<\/p>\n

The overall objective of the workshops was to increase the capacity of 19 CBOs on civil society values, tools and good governance, in addition to improving their skills to advocate, lead and manage campaigns.<\/p>\n

The first workshop identified the basics of internal work rules for organizations, especially community organizations, through good governance policies and procedures.<\/p>\n

The second workshop focused theoretically on advocacy and identified successful tactics for developing an advocacy campaign using social media platforms.<\/p>\n

The workshops concluded by distributing certificates of attendance for all participants.<\/p>\n
