New Elections in RDFL

RDFL has held elections for a new administrative board, renewing its commitment to the struggle and continuing an unbreakable journey, a collective responsibility toward a future of greater justice and dignity.

We congratulate Ms. Leila Mroueh on her election as President of RDFL, Ms. Sara Al-Aouta as Vice President, Ms. Raghida Yachoui as Secretary, Ms. Amal Rahhal as Treasurer, Ms. Afaf Ghazal as Accountant, and Ms. Marie Thérèse El-Mir and Ms. Baria El-Zein as board members.

Together, we continue a conscious and renewed feminist path, one where decisions are made in partnership, and women’s voices rise to reshape reality in a way that honors their rights and dignity.

The Lebanese Democratic Women’s Gathering is a secular non-governmental women organization which works with the democratic forces and represents a part of the advocacy secular democratic women’s movement, on the basis of international pacts and treaties, as well as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Universal Declaration on the Elimination of Violence Against Women, in order to promote women’s status and participation and empower them, aiming at achieving full equality between both sexes.
