RDFL Participates in the Feminist Solidarity Conference to Highlight Violence Against Women and Girls and Gaps in National Response

On the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, and under the theme “Feminist Solidarity – a Force for Eliminating Discrimination and Violence Against Women and Girls,” RDFL participated in the solidarity conference convened by Lebanon’s Feminist Platform. During the event, the organization presented data illustrating the prevalence and forms of violence against women and girls, identified key gaps in national response mechanisms, and underscored the interlinkages between domestic violence and child marriage.

This platform serves as an important opportunity to collectively amplify our voices and reaffirm that feminist solidarity is a powerful and essential driver for addressing discrimination and violence. It is through such joint efforts that we can advance meaningful change, strengthen protection systems, and ensure that all women and girls can live in dignity, security, and equality.
