RDFL Reaffirms Its Commitment to Ending Child Marriage During LAU Event “Cards Against Child Marriage”

As part of the ongoing efforts to combat child marriage, lawyer Ghada Nicolas represented the Lebanese Women Democratic Gathering (RDFL) at the “Cards Against Child Marriage” event organized by the Arab Institute for Women (AiW) at the Lebanese American University (LAU).

In her speech, she reaffirmed RDFL’s continuous commitment to raising the legal age of marriage in Lebanon and presented key findings from the organization’s national study on child marriage, emphasizing the urgent need for a law that protects girls and safeguards their right to education, safety, and dignity.
