RDFL Roundtable in Partnership with Trócaire and Supported by RDPP on Building a Joint Response to Protect Women and Girls and Presenting the Unified GBV Reporting Mechanism

A roundtable organized by (RDFL), in partnership with Trocaire and with the support of RDPP, on:
“Building a Joint Response to Protect Women and Girls: Presenting a Unified Mechanism for Reporting Cases of Gender-Based Violence for Local Implementation and National Adoption”
with the participation of stakeholders and representatives from the Internal Security Forces, civil society organizations, and relevant ministries.

During the roundtable, the unified response mechanism, linking municipalities, police stations, and organizations was discussed, along with ways to implement it locally in collaboration with concerned parties, as a step toward its official adoption by the Ministry of Interior and its dissemination as a national framework. This mechanism aims to provide protection for survivors of violence and a safe pathway for reporting and response.

This event is part of RDFL’s ongoing efforts to strengthen protection pathways for women and girls and to enhance coordination between municipalities, the Internal Security Forces, and human rights organizations in Lebanon.
