
Training for Women under the “We’am” Project Funded by Oxfam to Promote Social Cohesion and Combat Gender-Based Violence
RDFL Bekaa Branch organized a training workshop as part of the “We’am” project, funded by Oxfam and aimed at strengthening social cohesion in the Baalbek-Hermel Governorate.
The training targeted women between the ages of 18 and 35 and focused on key concepts such as social cohesion, gender-based violence, and the “Do No Harm” principle.
The workshop aimed to empower participants to adapt to social and economic shifts by equipping them with essential knowledge and skills related to peaceful conflict resolution. It also sought to enhance their ability to contribute to building safer and more cohesive communities, while emphasizing the importance of applying the “Do No Harm” principle when implementing initiatives and delivering humanitarian aid.
