Youth Dialogue Roundtable in Baalbek to Strengthen Youth Engagement in Crisis Response
At the invitation of the Lebanese Women Democratic Gathering and Shift Association, and with support from ActionAid, a roundtable was held to discuss “Enhancing Youth Engagement in Crisis Response.”
The dialogue brought together key decision-makers including MP Yanal Soloh, former and current Baalbek Union of Municipalities Presidents Chafic Chehade and Hussein Raad, a representative of Mufti Sheikh Raed Talouzi, Assistant Governor Mr. Jihad Haidar, alongside representatives from civil society organizations, Al-Shifa Association, and social activists.
Participants reviewed a draft policy paper prepared by youth from the humanitarian project, offering insights and recommendations based on their expertise. The discussion highlighted the vital role of youth and the importance of replicating such dialogues across municipalities and platforms.
