A cinematic activity highlights the issue of sexual harassment at the North Branch

Members of RDFL in the north-Tripoli branch participated in the cinematic activity Tripulley Ciné-Club during the screening and discussion of the movie "678 Bus",
based on real stories from the Egyptian community, and shedding light on the issue of sexual harassment against women in Arab society. The topic was discussed from
social and cultural dimensions, where women are captives to wrong habits and concepts.

The Lebanese Democratic Women’s Gathering is a secular non-governmental women organization which works with the democratic forces and represents a part of the advocacy secular democratic women’s movement, on the basis of international pacts and treaties, as well as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Universal Declaration on the Elimination of Violence Against Women, in order to promote women’s status and participation and empower them, aiming at achieving full equality between both sexes.
