A protest stop at the invitation of RDFL

A protest pause was carried out by the people of Baalbek, at the invitation of the Lebanese Women Democratic
Gathering - Bekaa Branch, and the Baalbek Women's Revolution in front of the municipality building, shouting
and rejecting the difficult living conditions. A statement was recited during the stand about the collapse 
of state institutions at all levels, and about the necessity of mobilizing women's forces, especially in order
to renew the march of the women's movement in Lebanon, as well as a call to overcome the differences between 
the forces of change in order to restore the pulse of the October 17 revolution.

The Lebanese Democratic Women’s Gathering is a secular non-governmental women organization which works with the democratic forces and represents a part of the advocacy secular democratic women’s movement, on the basis of international pacts and treaties, as well as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Universal Declaration on the Elimination of Violence Against Women, in order to promote women’s status and participation and empower them, aiming at achieving full equality between both sexes.
