A training workshop on advocacy and campaigning for young women in the Bekaa

Under the SPA II project, and in partnership with ActionAid Arab Region, RDFL is conducting a two-day training workshop on advocacy in the Bekaa region, bringing together young women from the Core Team in Baalbek and Jeb Jennine, and facilitated by trainer Michel Daccache.
‏The workshop builds on the participatory gender and social norms research process in which the young women took part, with the aim of translating the issues and priorities identified through the research into practical advocacy pathways and community initiatives led by young women in Baalbek and Jeb Jennine.
‏During the training, participants are identifying advocacy priorities, analyzing stakeholders and centers of influence, developing advocacy objectives and messages, and preparing action plans. They are also designing community initiatives informed by the research findings to address barriers and social norms that limit women’s and young women’s participation and leadership in their communities⁦‪.
