An interactive theater show on the issue of child marriage in Lebanon

As part of the 16 Days of activism, the Lebanese Women Democratic Gathering - Tripoli Branch, organized an interactive theater show at the Abjad Center -
Tabbaneh theater, in which it addressed the issue of child marriage in Lebanon and how different segments of society interact with this issue, as part of the Heartland alliance project, which aims to help
survivors of violence and their social reintegration by providing them with specialized services such as psychosocial support and legal services. The theatrical performance included an attractive introduction about the society's mentality and its justifications for parents to marry off girls.
It also dealt with girls' rush to marry to escape the deteriorating economic situation despite their ignorance of the dangers of this marriage.
The conclusion came to highlight the need to pass a law prohibiting child marriage.
