As part of the 16 days of activisim, the Lebanese Women Democratic Gathering - Mount Lebanon Branch, organized an awareness meeting under the title: Women's Mental Health
and the Impact of Successive Crises, at Jounieh Town Hall. The meeting was moderated by Dr. Caroline Succar, President of the Women's Gathering, who spoke about the
impact of economic and security crises, unemployment and poverty on the mental health of community members and women in particular.
Dr. Cecilia Doumit, founder of "Overcome association,Towards Better Mental Health" spoke about the pressure and psychological problems that women are exposed to by
virtue of their nature and various responsibilities in their home and society. As explained by Dr. Linda Shakur, psychologist and founder of Emerge coaching Company
on the role of positivity in improving women's physical and mental health. She called on women to adopt flexibility, a positive approach to crises,
and self-love and acceptance, to overcome difficulties that cannot be changed.
