Combating Violence against Women in the Southern Mediterranean Region

The Lebanese Women Democratic Gathering – RDFL  and Association Najdeh  In Lebanon announce the opening of the Call for Project Proposals under the title Empowering women in local communities and raising awareness on women’s rights and violence against women and girls by local community-based organisations.
This proposal is part of the regional project «combat violence against women in the Southern Mediterranean», in partnership with the Euro-Mediterranean Women›s initiative and funded by the European Union.
Applicants must send the electronic format of the concept note, detailed budget and indicative action plan in separate files no later than 17.00 pm on 16 April 2020 to the e-mail address: Beirut@rdflwomen.org – cc: buthaina@association-najdeh.org

The Lebanese Democratic Women’s Gathering is a secular non-governmental women organization which works with the democratic forces and represents a part of the advocacy secular democratic women’s movement, on the basis of international pacts and treaties, as well as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Universal Declaration on the Elimination of Violence Against Women, in order to promote women’s status and participation and empower them, aiming at achieving full equality between both sexes.
