Launching a Strategic Review to Strengthen Governance and Enhance Institutional Development

The Lebanese Democratic Women’s Gathering (RDFL) has launched a comprehensive review of its vision, objectives, structure, and strategic plan, aimed at strengthening good governance, with the support of Diakonia.
‏The review involves the participation of the administrative board, branch committees, and staff, and is facilitated by Dr. Ghassan Salibi.
‏This step represents a key milestone ahead of the Golden Jubilee celebration in November this year, during which RDFL will present the outcomes of the review as a renewed and forward-looking launch, reinforcing its journey and consolidating its pioneering role in defending the rights of women and girls in Lebanon.

The Lebanese Democratic Women’s Gathering is a secular non-governmental women organization which works with the democratic forces and represents a part of the advocacy secular democratic women’s movement, on the basis of international pacts and treaties, as well as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Universal Declaration on the Elimination of Violence Against Women, in order to promote women’s status and participation and empower them, aiming at achieving full equality between both sexes.
