Safe Spaces for Women and Girls in Saida to Promote Awareness, Protection, and Psychosocial Support
As part of the “Haretna” project funded by AFD and Danida, RDFL is implementing awareness sessions on gender‑based violence, along with non‑focused psychosocial support sessions at its center in Saida. These activities targeted women from the Taamir area aged 20 to 60, girls aged 14 to 18, and women aged 30 to 55. The sessions were designed according to the participants’ priorities, providing safe spaces for self‑expression, strengthening knowledge of their rights and protection from violence, and engaging them in social activities that promote mental and social well‑being while empowering their active role in the community.
