Sukna’s Success Story

Sukna has become capable of applying her new skills practically and effectively in her daily life. She is one of the beneficiaries of the Economic Empowerment Program – the Electricity Learning Course organized by the Lebanese Women Democratic Gathering with funding from Diakonia.

“I gained experience from participating in the electricity learning course, including how to calculate electricity consumption and solar energy, and how to repair some minor faults at home. The most important benefit was learning how to protect myself and my children from electrical hazards, which has enhanced safety standards for me and my children. Now, I proudly say that I can extend the house’s electrical wiring myself.” – Sukna, 53 years old.
