Within the International Women’s Day activities, The Lebanese Women Democratic Gathering – Zouk Branch presents the documentary film “Childhood Under Slavery”

As a part of International Women’s Day activities, the Lebanese Women Democratic Gathering – Zouk Branch presented “Childhood Under Slavery”, documentary in the presence of women and girls’ group, members of municipalities and activists in the public sphere. The show was followed by a discussion about women’s participation in municipal elections, in which Kfardebian municipality member, Ms. Josephine Zogheib, Jounieh municipality member, Ms. Silva Sobeih, shared their experience in municipal work, and their vision about the importance of the women’s role, and the need for their involvement in this field.
